My wife and I took out first warm vacation to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We are having a wonderful time. Our travel agent suggested this hotel because we did not want to go to an all inclusive place. When we arrived we were greeted with big smiles and welcomes. The hotel is quaint and not pretentious. The place is well cared for and very clean. The staff is friendly and they have fun… Lots of laughter.
Mauricio was our first waiter at supper: he introduced us to the other staff.. Franco, Susanna (she always smiled and cleaned our room to perfection), and many more. The food was fantastic; well prepared, tasty… Service was great.. Beer nice and cold…. But the view!!!!! We watched a spectacular sunset on a beautiful beach… What more could we want!
We asked about adventure tours and were introduced to Rene of Marco Polo Adventure CR. For a decent price, he arranged for a day of wonder at waterfalls,a volcano and hotsprings and a rainforest. He and his driver, Abe safely brought us to the sites and returned is to the hotel, tired but very satisfied.
In conclusion, if you want a beautiful clean place to stay with wonderful ambiance and great food, stay at Cafe de Playa.
